ISO/IEC JTC 1/SC 6 is an important sub-technical committee of the International Organization for Standardization in the field of information technology. Its technical direction is inter-system remote communication and information exchange, focusing on technical research and standardization in the field of information exchange between open systems, covering international The Open Systems Interconnection (OSI) seven-layer model proposed by the Standardization Organization is the basis for information communication in the global cyberspace system. Since its establishment in 1988, there have been 396 international standards for telecommunication and information exchange between systems, and more than 40 projects are currently under progress. These standardization work has laid a solid foundation for the orderly development of global informatization.
According to the introduction of the WAPI Industry Alliance, this meeting includes the 41st plenary meeting of SC 6, the head and convener meeting, as well as WG 1 (physical layer and data link layer) and WG 7 (network layer, transport layer) under SC 6 and Future Network), WG 10 (directory, ASN.1 and registration) three permanent working group meetings, as well as two ad hoc group discussions on blockchain network interconnection and wearable devices. The meeting discussed Near Field Communication Interface Protocol (NFCIP), Low Altitude Unmanned Aerial Area Network (LADAN), Future Network Architectures, Protocols and Mechanisms, Intelligent Internet (AIEN), Abstract Syntax Notation (ASN.1), Object Identifier (OID) ) and certificate management of terminal entities (CMEE) and more than 30 standard technology projects, as well as a number of topics such as SC 6 organizational management and personnel appointments, the meeting achieved remarkable results.
In terms of the promotion of international standard technical proposals, the project report of “End Entity Certificate Management” jointly submitted by Xidian Jietong, WAPI Industry Alliance and the National Engineering Laboratory of Wireless Network Security Technology was recognized, laying a solid foundation for the subsequent promotion of this project to become a new international standard project The two OID-related proposals jointly proposed by China Electronics Standardization Institute and Alibaba Cloud Computing Co., Ltd. have led to a new consensus; the two international standards for “future network service quality” led by Chongqing University of Posts and Telecommunications have entered a new review cycle , The “Intelligent Internet of Things (AIEN)” technology based on the future network system has entered the pre-research stage.
In terms of the construction of the international standard ecological environment, upon the active initiative of my country, SC 6 established the “Concept and Terminology Advisory Group” involving the research on the overall concepts and terminology in the field of data communication, and the “Reliable” research on the trustworthy characteristics of data communication standard outputs.
